Book Series Description:
An exciting new series that explores American History by taking readers back in time!
At the grand re-opening of a local museum, Professor Abner Jefferson plans to reveal something amazing at the showcasing of the new American History exhibit. For the first time ever, he will open a book he believes was owned by Paul Revere himself, and it traces back to the early days of the Revolutionary War!
When Professor Abner opens the book, the ground starts to shake. As the onlookers panic, the kids notice the professor has vanished! April, Henry, and Toad quickly realize it is up to them to rescue him.
What happened to Professor Abner? Can the kids save him without altering history or will they be stranded in another time period forever?

Great fun for kids and their parents!
My daughter and I absolutely love all of Daniel Kenney’s books! He has truly mastered the art of writing books that are both educational and FUN! We have read the Math Inspector series as well as the Science Inspectors and we loved them all! This was our first History Mystery Kid’s book and we are already off to order more! Fantastic books! Highly recommend!
My grandson loves the history mysteries
My grandson loved reading the history mysteries! He’s a real history buff and truly enjoyed them. He binge read them in a few days! Now he wants to try the campground series!
My kids really enjoyed the story and characters
My kids really enjoyed the story and characters. This book takes the characters to several places and times in one well-written, fun story while keeping the book at the same reading level in terms of length and attention span. We read a lot of series while also buying many 1st books to try a new (or old) series out (I do not have a library card, so I buy the books to try them out instead). This particular one was one that grabbed the kids' attention and have them asking for the next ones.
Reading for the win
My son begrudgingly reads to us. Yet, these books have help spark an interest in reading. Thank you
Grandson likes them.
Bought the set for my grandson and he enjoys them.
