Good fun - helped our reluctant reader and was very well-received by our avid, though picky, reader.
We have one avid reader and one budding reader who both really like this book and the whole series. They say it's really funny and is a good story. It was recommended to me based on it being a good, clean, fun read. Middle school is definitely a good age for this book, but that's just a general reference point.

Received damaged
I bought these for my grandson and plan to give them to him for his birthday. I have already mentioned that the books were received damaged and got no reply. I will not be ordering from you again.

Good Story!
I read this book to my 7 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it. We also did the word problems at the end of the book, which are a definitely above her current 2nd grade math skills, but it was fun to tell her how I would work through them. I was a I bit concerned that the story wouldn’t be terribly interesting and focus too much on the math at the expense of the story, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually quite engaging and we were both excited to find out the solution to the mystery! I liked the diversity of the characters and the stylized drawings inside the book. I wish they used the same artist for the cover. Quote from my daughter: “My favorite part was the math at the end. I also like just reading it because I really love books and stuff. I really want to read more in this series!”

4th Grader Loves it
My son started reading the first book and loved it. Flew through it in a couple of days and was off to the next one. Loves to tell us what’s going on in the books. Great series for kids!

Love The Math Inspectors!
I ordered The Math Inspectors series for my 11 year old for Christmas. The only thing that showed up in my mailbox was an opened empty envelope. I called customer service and another set of books was promptly in the mail. It even made it in time for Christmas! My son and I have read Book 1 and Book 2 so far and we really like them. Great job!!
