"A little good. A little bad." -Angela
Pros: Characters are well developed. Pace is good. Cons: Characters are dishonest (moral values?). The main character lies to get a confession on very slim shaky evidence. The kids break into the Dean's office. The kids make a mess, and are comfortable framing the rival school which has nothing to do with it. The whole thing is about the scientific method, which was great, but at the end, the main character makes a wild assumption, with almost no evidence, and of course it is right. It is better than Math Inspectors, but still isn't as moral as I was hoping from the advertisements.
Great books to purchase!
I told my friends to get these books for their elementary age son…
Science Insprectors is fun
We love most of the book series sold through Bakken Books. We need more safe books for our kids to read without political agendas, sexuality, cursing or violence. Just safe, fun books. The Science Inspectors do have some questionable language for kids....like Sucker or What the??? So.....buy at your discretion moms, dads, grandparents. :)
Great Series Books
My 8 year old grandson first loved The Math Inspectors and now loves The Science Inspectors. He has reread each book several times.
Great reading
My son loved these books almost as much as The Math Inspectors series. I wish Daniel Kennedy had more books like this.
Bakken Books
Hey Lisa, Check out The Science Inspectors and The History Mystery Kids by Daniel Kenney. More to come for the Inspectors series as well!
